I used to go to this place when it was Floyd's, and loved the atmosphere then. When I walked into Cafe United for the first time, I could tell something had changed. The place seems smaller... Then, one of the shop owners pushes open a bookcase-door and reveals a secret room! Lol! I had a meeting in the "speak easy" room. It was great! Private and cozy - much better than it was when it was Floyd's. The new owners have made a wonderful contribution to Keep Portland Weird. I hope they join Weird Portland United! Great work! The coffee is an excellent medium to dark roast, none of that green fruity flavor that so many shops are providing these days! Cafe United is a great coffee shop!

We randomly stopped by for some coffee before the farmers market along the waterfront (which is open on Sunday now, too, fyi!), and we stumbled upon a few live performers. The vibes were lovely and supportive and everyone seemed to be having fun and focusing on the love of music. Thanks for creating this space.

Such a nice little hidden coffee shop with a cute area to sit at outside. They let us walk our dogs through the coffee shop out to the patio so we could sit with them. They told us they have music on Friday nights sometimes! Will definitely be coming back.

Come check out this adorable cafe! The coffee is strong and the tea is nice and mellow. The bathroom is nice too, which you can use with the purchase of something. The prices are very fair! The whole vibe is amazing here.

We were visiting Portland and cane across this very cool coffee shop. The owner was incredibly kind and great vibes in the place. The coffee was also delicious! Great way to support a local business and nice people.

My go-to downtown coffee shop! Great location close to the river and weekend market. The vibe is so lovely, coffee is delicious, and the owners are the friendliest. They host lots of events and do a great job supporting local artists. Definitely pay them a visit!

This place was so awesome! Happened upon it during a walk to a protest. Found some amazing jazz musicians jamming around lunch time. The barista was slammed but efficient. I liked the vibe.
